Outpatient
We offer a full range of outpatient options from individual counseling to intensive outpatient and specialized group education. Individuals who have stable and drug-free home environments are able to attend individual counseling, group education, and group therapy sessions, as needed, for a term of six to twelve weeks. All treatment episodes are planned by the client with suggestions and insight offered from staff members.
Individual Counseling
Provides one-on-one sessions with a professional counselor. These private sessions are focused on individual goals as a way to expand recovery tools. Treatment goals are built from background information and doctor recommendations.
Outpatient Group Programs
Outpatient education and therapy groups are available. Most often therapy groups have six to eight members. Education topic groups are much larger and are often offered in a classroom style setting. The outpatient schedule is developed to meet the needs of each client and geared to keeping communication and recovery coaching going for up to one year through the additional use of phone contact.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment
A structured system of day or evening treatment that allows a client to stay in their home and go to work because the treatment schedule is flexible. This popular format incorporates group process therapy, medical lectures, and support given from peers to learn and practice recovery skills for everyday life to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
Continuing Treatment
Continuing Treatment is a highly individualized treatment program which focuses on each individual maintaining a recovery set of connections. Access to trauma counseling and vocational support is offered from professionals to help clients find the right combination of help to meet unique needs and circumstances.
We know that treatment the longer someone can stay in treatment, the more success that they will have in recovery. Attending treatment for three to six months is the best assurance and predictor of long term success.
Treatment duration is always individualized and occurs in a “step-down” fashion. For example, during the first four weeks, a patient may attend 10 hours of treatment each week; during the next couple of months, a patient would step down to attending three hours per week, and during the last stages of treatment occurring in the last couple of months, patients would see a counselor or attend group every two to three weeks.
